Afiartis - center of wind surfing - Karpathos

Im Süden der Insel Karpathos liegt das Revier der Surfer. Es ist eines der Starkwindreviere in Europa. Den ganzen Sommer herrschen hier bei fast garantierten 4-8 Windstärken optimale Bedingungen für das Windsurfen.

Hier sollte man auch als Nicht-Surfer vorbeischauen. Bei ganz hervorragendem Essen kann man die flache Bucht der "Chicken Bay" mit den vielen Surfern beobachten.
